Mystery History 1: Guardian Angels at Play

Guardian Angels at Play      How to Play:          I'm going to tell a story about a famous person or thing in history without saying who or what it is and you need to figure out what I'm talking about Let's begin.      The young man rode on his horse, moving in harmony with the animal's loping strides. It was 1755 and the July sun was beating down on the mighty British empire as they marched through Pennsylvania.      The marching army contained an estimated 1,300 soldiers, both British regulars and colonial troops, they were led by General Edward Braddock.      The young man was General Braddock's aide-de-camp which meant that the young man was constantly doing things like relaying messages, managing schedules and other things like that, participating in ceremonies, and doing other things. He essentially ensured that Braddock's job was as simple as possible and was pretty much his right hand ma...

Sparkplug and Talon and the Parents decision: book four

Sparkplug and Talon and the Parents' Decision   Sparkplug (Tom Plex) landed on the ground and waited for Talon (Sally Plex) to land near him. Sparkplug pressed his watch and his superhero suit disappeared. A peregrine falcon landed by him and turned into a nine year old girl. Sally pressed her watch and her suit disappeared. “Have you ever wondered who is sending us these messages?” Sally asked her ten year old brother. “No, but now I am,” Tom replied. “Let’s think about it while we rest,” Sally suggested. The siblings raced in side their house. After dinner Tom and Sally went to bed. When Tom woke up the moonlight shone through his window. Other than the moon and the stars it was pitch black outside. T houghts were racing through his mind why had he woken up? Suddenly there was a buzz on his wrist he looked down and gasped. There was a face in his watch. Tom jumped out of bed and into Sally’s room. Sally was sitting in bed rubbing her eyes. “...

Sparkplug and Talon: book one

Sparkplug and Talon   It was a gorgeous summer’s day and Tom Plex was bouncing on the trampoline. Suddenly his watch buzzed. Tom glanced down at his watch to find that it displayed the number two, GPS coordinates, and, in all caps, the word MISSION. Tom ran inside and ran to his sister’s bed room, “Sally,” he said. “I already saw it,” Sally said calmly. The number two meant that there was a mission for both of the siblings, the GPS informed them where the mission was, and the word MISSION was exactly like it sounds. Tom and Sally were siblings, best friends, and they had a fantastic secret. Both siblings were super heroes! Tom posessed powers of electricity; he could fly, shoot lightning, and, on occasion,  could make things out of lightning like a rope. Sally’s powers were that she could turn into five different animals; they were a peregrine falcon, a common swift, a cougar, a dolphin, and a monkey. Tom’s super hero name was Sparkplug and Sally’s was...

Monster Quest

Monster Quest                  The wind whipped through my brown hair as I leaped  out of the small plane; savouring the feel of the wind in my face, I dove about twenty feet and stretched out my hands and feet. My squirrel suit unfurled             I glided to a small cliff and landed, stumbling a little before windmilling my arms to right myself.           I walked around the large mountain, my eyes roving the ground and the sky.           I was looking for monsters; I had heard tales of small lizard like monsters that supposedly lurked on these mountains and I planned to see if they were true. Some people said they had wings, some said that they wore armor and their arms were swords. So you'll understand why I absolutely had to figure out if this was correct.     ...
